Automated Blog Plugin Tools – WP Robot Vs Autoblogged

One of the hottest crazes in internet marketing today are the automated blog tools that are starting to breakthrough. There have been some previous attempts at automated blogs build around RSS feeds, but these always seemed to be lacking the ability to manage the content.

Today’s new automated blog plugin tools do a much better job of scraping article content (legally) while providing all required linking back to the originating website and the links that the original author wants to promote. This legitimizes the automated blog content because and gives recognition to the websites that deserve it.

Two of the better automated blog plugin tools are WP Robot and Autoblogged. While there are other options available, these two (for the moment) have captured the attention of internet marketers interested in pursuing this strategy. There are very good reasons why these products are gaining rapid approval – they are best in class at what they do and they provide solid and reliable platforms to automatically build your blog content.

In the spirit of transparency, I prefer WP Robot. There are several reasons, but the biggest is the ability to pull content from multiple sources, which not only provides more content, but also provides the ability to pull in monetized content. In other words, WP Robot will build articles with monetized content from ClickBank, eBay and Amazon. So you can easily build a monetized website just by using WP Robot to feed your monetized content.

WP Robot also has a “mix” feature that allows you mix and match content from various sources into one article. For example, with WP Robot you can mix content from the following sources into one posting:

  • keyword relevant images from Flicker
  • keyword relevant article content from articlesbase.com and sooperarticles.com
  • keyword relevant auction listings from eBay
  • keyword relevant product listings from Amazon
  • keyword relevant video from YouTube
  • keyword relevant content from RSS feeds

So this tool provides the ability to mix and match content you can create totally unique articles that provide keyword relevant information and keyword relevant products that your visitors can buy.

Autoblogged provides great tools to build content, but does not provide the monetization tools. Even though they provide a great solution around articles and RSS feed integration, not providing the ability to include monetization content reduces its overall strength.

But on the other hand, some niches may be better served through other monetization methods besides eBay, Amazon, or ClickBank, therefore reducing the need for the monetization capabilities that WP Robot provides.

The way I looked at it, the pricing for WP Robot and Autoblogged were pretty similar, although it is more expensive. But I figured that over the long term, the monetization content features might be important as I get more sophisticated in the types of blogs that I want to put up. Therefore, I felt that WP Robot was the better product for me.

The best tool to automate your blog is a WordPress automatic blog content plugin that builds unique content on every post your blog automatically creates.

Many people want more info about how to have a great looking website, so have a look at this. Be sure to have a good look at it all. Don’t forget to provide your comments so we can all learn from your opinions:

————————————

How to Create an Awesome Website – Fast!

If you’ve decided to start an online business, or an online component for a bricks and mortar enterprise, then you are probably considering starting a website. The process can be a bit daunting, but here are some simple steps that will help you create a website that will build your business.

First of all, decide what you want your website to accomplish. Sure, you want to grow your business, but what does that mean for you? Do you want people to click on your ads? Do you want viewers to hire you to design their website or edit their content? Do you want your audience to purchase a product that you offer? Figuring out what exactly you want your website to accomplish will help you with the next step.

Of course, the next step is to decide what your website needs to include. If you want to earn money via Pay Per Click, then you need to plan your website around your ad space. If you want to encourage people to buy a product that you sell then you will need to have an online store with some sort of checkout system and a payment option. If you want your audience to be able to communicate with you then you need some opportunity for feedback. This may mean a blog that includes comments, a guestbook, or a contact form that enables people to request more information from you.

Once you have figured out what you need in order to accomplish your goals, you can go about choosing a hosting service. Choose a unique domain name that uses keywords that are relevant to your niche area. Remember that search engines count your domain name as keywords for search purposes, so choose one that is relevant and easy to remember.

Estimate how much bandwidth you might need, decide which extra services you will need, and figure out how much money you have available to spend on hosting. Obviously your cost will be determined by how many “extras” your website requires. If you have an online store, a forum area, and a blog, your cost will be higher than if you are only including a blog or a small collection of articles.

Next you need to work on designing your website. Decide whether you will hire a designer or use a prefabricated template. Work on organizing your content so that it is easy for your audience to find what they need. Create categories and subcategories, and figure out how viewers can navigate between the different pages. Remember to keep your design as clean as possible and to stick to your main topic or area of expertise.

A good rule of thumb is that any information should be accessible from the homepage in three mouse clicks or less. This ensures that your audience doesn’t waste time trying to find the information that they are looking for.

Of course, the last step in designing a web page is to go live! Once you have finalized all of the details and double checked everything it’s time to stake your claim online. Then it is time for the hard work- drawing traffic to your site and selling your product or service.

Discover how to build your own autopilot internet business that earns $1,000s every month within 8 to 12 weeks. (Seriously, this is something we’ve helped *thousands* of people do.) 5 Blogging Plugins You Must Use

Plugins for the Wordpress platform are tons of fun and incredibly useful. You’ll find everything you need to turn your blog into something amazing that is every bit as great as you would have imagined. While there are many plugins out there that are worth your while, the five that follow are the cream of the crop.

Akismet

This plugin actually comes standard with your Wordpress installation. You will have to get a Wordpress.com API key to make it work, but after you do it’s pure bliss. This will help keep spam comments away automatically! Akismet is smart enough to put suspected spam into a separate folder, and it even learns from you as you go. You should always activate this plugin for the best results with your blog. It saves you a ton of time too!

Linking to different pages in your blog from every page is a great search engine optimization tactic. The problem with blogs is that it can be so hard to dig through old posts that are related and manually link them in your new post. Related posts solves that problem! This will automatically insert some relevant posts for your blog. It’s very hands-off and very effective. Both visitors and search engines love this plugin.

All in One SEO Pack

Once again, optimizing your site for the search engines is going to be one of the best ways you can make money with your blog. The higher you rank, the more traffic you recieve. The more traffic you receive, the more money you make! The All In One SEO pack makes your life easier because it allows you to specify the title, description (that will show up in the search engines), and keywords.

Wordpress Database Backup

Backing up your blog is crucial if you value your business. You never know what could happen to your server, and it would be awfully devastating to lose everything. You can easily back everything up by pressing a few simple buttons with this effective and very useful plugin.

Top Commentators

This plugin is greatly effective and it encourages a lot of interaction on your blog. It lists the people who have the most comments within your blog. They love this because they get the extra exposure. You love it because people really get into posting to try and be at the top. It also gives social proof. When people visit a blog for the first time they are more likely to stick around if there are clearly other people there who value your content. The fact that they can see others participating is a great thing.

There are an incredible number of different plugins out there that are ready for you to use. Install these essentials and you’ll be well-prepared to become the great blogger you’re going to become.

2 Tips How to Make Money Blogging

Affiliate marketing can be a great source of income for many people as long as you know how to make the whole process work for you. One of the first efforts that you are taught when you begin is that you need to start a blog.

Unfortunately, although this is a common aspect of affiliate marketing, there are a lot of people who do not know how to make money blogging through their affiliate products. They assume that a blog is the way that they make their presence known or a way to help other affiliate marketers who are still learning the tricks of the trade. While both things are true, learning how to make money blogging involves so much more than just that.

There is one important thing that you need to know before you start working on following some advice and learning how to make money blogging. When you are using a blog for promoting your affiliate products, you must have a dramatic blog – something that makes it stand out and draws attention, which is your goal.

You have to make sure that your blog is getting the most attention, and thereby the most readers. When you boost your traffic, you are also increasing the amount of sales conversions that you have. This is the foundation of how to make money blogging.

1. Recommending and Endorsing Your Products

In figuring out how to make money blogging through affiliate programs, first you need to make sure that you are choosing affiliate products that are beneficial and highly sought after. Products like self-help e-books and computer programs are great ideas.

There are so many to choose from that you have near endless possibilities. You should know however, that there are scam products out there that you need to watch out for; you do not want to spend the time marketing a product that turns out to be a huge scam.

That said, the actual effort of how to make money blogging is about recommending and endorsing the affiliate products that you are trying to market. One of the best ways to do this is actually to test the product yourself. Then you can use your personal experiences with the product as part of your effort of using your affiliate product in learning how to make money blogging.

The goal is to show your readers that you are trustworthy and honest. When you can convey this to readers as potential customers, they will keep coming back to see what else you are offering, and they will tell other people about their experiences with the product and where they got it from.

2. Using Affiliate Links

In learning how to make money blogging, you have no doubt learned the importance of using your affiliate links. The affiliate links are the ones that are generated specifically for you by the affiliate programs that you have signed up for.

They are a means of tracking the products that you are marketing; your unique affiliate link is a tracer that is based on your affiliate identification. The placement of these links is important. In many e-books available about monetizing your blog, you will find information about using affiliate links, but not about proper placement.

Your affiliate links need to be positioned in the hot spots of your blog, such as places where they can easily be seen by people who visit. The most visible locations include the top left side of your blog’s home page, as well as the introduction and middle of each posting. Learning how to make money blogging successfully will be largely dependent on this placement.

Can I Sell Products on My Blog?

You’ve got your blog set up, add-ons ready to impress and a great theme installed. Now you’re ready to get blogging. Or maybe you’ve been blogging for a little while now and you have a question:

“Can I sell products on my blog?”

Why of course! You can do anything you want on your blog, it’s your blog. If we dig deeper into the original question, you might be also looking for the answers to these questions:

“Will people be offended if I try to sell from my blog?”

“Is it likely I’ll make good money selling from my blog?” or

How do I go about making sales from my blog?”

All great questions. Let’s cover them all.

Will People Be Offended If I Try to Sell From My Blog?

That really depends on how and what you sell. I am personally very partial to selling by attraction marketing. That means I give out a lot of free information so that I will attract the right kind of people to my blog. Then I make recommendations that are highly useful to my readers. There’s no offense in selling this way.

On the other hand if you decided to throw up a blog full of great, free content in order to build a loyal readership and then all of a sudden you begin hammering them with offer after offer it’s likely you’ll annoy a few people.

Is It Likely I’ll Make good Money Selling From My Blog?

There are many bloggers who make a full time living from their blog. Whether you will or not is going to depend on you and the choices you make. If someone’s trying to tell you that you can get rich overnight with blogging or internet marketing be wary.

Blogging is simply another online marketing method, it’s not a quick fix. You need a solid plan and to be extremely diligent with your testing and tracking. That way when you hit on something that really works you’ll know it immediately and be able to repeat your efforts.

How Do I Go About Making Sales on my Blog?

Sales won’t just happen. You can’t just stick up a link or a banner ad that says ‘buy this’ and have people flocking with credit cards in hand. The first thing you’ll need is a sales and marketing plan.

Then you’ll need to create a content plan. You’ll have to build your content around topics that promote the products or services you want to sell through your blog. Reviews work great for making sales and you can certainly add them in with your posts. You won’t want to make every post a review unless that is the actual format of your blog.

If you want quick site indexing, there is no better choice then a blog-type website.

But as always, there is room for improvement. So how can we build a more search engine efficient blog? Here are the basic points you must cover:

1. Search Engine friendly Site Structure

Optimizing your blog must start with permitting visitors and search engine spiders alike quick access to content pages.

This is done by eliminating unnecessary clicks between the homepage and individual content web pages.

Once visitors are on site, reading the content, retain their attention as long as possible by sprinkling links to related posts in the text body and, of course, having the “related posts” feature appearing at the end of each post.

Making your blog look and feel more like a spider web with all sections interconnected helps improve site’s overall buoyancy in the SERPs and not only for individual content pages that happens to be better optimized.

Categorize your website with keywords best reflecting your niche market. Over time as you reinforce your SERPs position you’ll start ranking for such keywords, making your blog a dependable go-to resource for informational content, reviews and buying.

Keep in mind though, not to crisscross tagging names with category names, respectively if you have a category named “SEO for blogs” don’t tag content with the same depiction.

2. Link Out to Related Blogs and Build Backlinks

A proven way of increasing authority and trust with the SEs is not to be cheap with linking out to relevant content to yours. Let’s face it; you can’t possibly know or cover it all.

Google disregards websites with clear indicators of PageRank sculpting such as having only inbound links with no referencing to other theme related websites/subjects.

Dofollow linking should be used when referencing related content. Nofollow tags are getting more and more overlooked, at least by Yahoo and MSN. The reason lies in their failure to effectively fight spam -their very own reason of being, in the first place.

As far as your own back links, these can be created with consistent blog commenting, guest posting on representative blogs in your industry and blog directories submission.

Addressing this last issue, keep in mind that for the top directories a first submission will most probably not result in an inclusion, especially if your blog is newly launched (< 1 year).

Just insist with future submission requests because the lower the acceptance rate the more valuable such a back link is.

3. Stay Away From Duplicate Content

Thanks to a wide range of SEO plugins, onsite duplicate content has stopped being a problem for blogging platforms. In addition to this, Google has improved its technique of dealing with blogs by recognizing blog areas where duplicate content might appear.

Off site duplicate content is a real problem but not so much from an SEO as from a content marketing standpoint. The culprits here are content scrapers that literally steal your content and embed it on their own cheap sites.

Although you can’t avoid, you can use the practice in your advantage by embedding absolute links into the text body for them to be active even when published on different domains.

4. Generate XML Sitemaps

An XML sitemap is a list of URLs for all of your indexed pages and tag names that basically tells Google when your blog receives new content. This is a great asset compared to static websites where you have to wait in line until SEs visit it.

The second part of this article on search engine optimizing a blog is published on the SEO section of my educational blog, TrafficCpanel.com.

As you would expect I am constantly looking for articles, videos, and other useful content that gives online marketing advice which assists readers to have a more profitable online business, I found this particular article which I decided I would offer to you. It is called Need Backlinking Help?. Be sure to take a look at it all. Do not forget to provide your thoughts so everyone can enjoy your point of view:

—————–

A very important part of Search Engine Optimization or SEO is building high quality inbound links. Although links pointing to your site are a vital factor in your search engine ranking, there are other factors, as well. You raise your odds of a higher ranking in the search engines if you have good inbound links to your site, and your higher ranking will increase the traffic to your site. This article discusses 3 simple suggestions to improve your site’s ranking and build better backlinks.

Effective Link Building Through Your Blog

If you want a safe way to create backlinks to your site, connect it to a website like myBlogLog, Twitter, Technorati, and other web 2.0 sites that link back to your blog or website any time they are notified of a change. Once you submit your site, create profile pages, and claim your blogs, you are already getting the hard work done. After you have created your profile and claimed your blogs, you need to wait to see if your profiles and accounts will be accepted by them.

Once that’s done, you can start to get some automated link juice. The backlinks you acquire this way are high quality since they’re coming from high PR sites. Plus, since most of the work is done automatically, you really do not have to do anything manually once you have your profile set up. This strategy is extremely helpful if you’re looking out to build backlinks with less effort and better results.

Quality Outweighs Quantity

Manual back links have benefits but require a bigger time devotion. However, despite the ease of Method #1, manually building back links is often a quality investment of your web site development time. Let’s take the example of EzineArticles.com, which is considered the best among the other article directories, and can be utilized the build some really strong backlinks.

The whole idea here is to make sure you get a good return on your time investment by leveraging such effective places to get links manually. Do not waste your time putting efforts into gaining backlinks from places that will not give you any true results; instead, focus your efforts on getting articles published through quality sites like EzineArticles.com and GoArticles.com, which are considered to be the best. Writing original articles and getting them published through this type of site will allow you to get a very high quality backlink for your time and effort.

Using Anchor Text in Your Links

When you post to a forum you can include your link in your signature and crate a back link to your site. Forums receive thousands of vistors a day and you can easily gain access to this traffic by posting on the forum. Simply design a great signature including your website link, it’s really that easy!

By doing this, you can build a lot of quality backlinks and drive targeted traffic at the same time. Remember, the quality of the backlink is effected by where you post, so make sure you post in related forums. It may sound too simple to really work, but it can if done correctly.

The Best Blog Platform

What is the best blog platform is probably a bit of a loaded question. Overall, I’d have to say that the self-hosted version WordPress wins the award hands down. But not in all cases. There are times when I think it would be better for bloggers to use other platforms.

Why is the self-hosted version so good? Well, you install it for free into your own paid hosting. The software is free to download and use, although if you have a website designer do the work for you they are entitled to charge you for their set-up time.

Free Installation

Once it is up and running you can install, again for free, plugins to do many jobs for you. From extra security to search engine optimisation they are all available to download for free. Themes, the basic layouts of your website, are also available for free from loads of different pages.

So the self-hosted version of WordPress is fully customisable and has plenty of add ins available. And it is free. What can be better?

The Downside Of WordPress

Well, for some people, the process of a registering a domain name, setting up your own hosting and then FTPing the files to your new website, whilst not being overly complicated, is still slightly technical. It is possible for anyone and everyone to follow a few basic instructions and load and install a WordPress installation, but I can understand why some people would back off from the idea and prefer something else.

So what is there?

Blogger Is A Good Second Choice

Well, I would say hot second favourite is Blogger. It seems that if you don’t use self-hosted WordPress, then you are probably going to use Blogger. Blogger is easy to set-up and to start blogging. Sign up to the service, find an available name and you are up and running.

So it is perfect for those frightened of the technical aspects of self-hosted WordPress, whilst also avoiding the website hosting and database hosting fees. The only downside is that you have a Blogger website name. This is not as profitably as having your own website name if you are getting into the field of sponsored posts and so on.

But they have a fix for this. With Blogger you can follow their instructions, by your own domain name and use that for your blog.

So for the technically minded, willing and able to handle the hosting aspect, I would recommend installing WordPress, whilst for those wanting a quick and easy entry into the blogging world, go for Blogger.

There is one exception!

If you are blogging about certain niches, then there can be specialised systems set-up ready for you. I use WordPress for all of my blogs, except for my running blog. Why, well if you look at a specialist service provider who concentrates on blogs only from one niche, you can get one very big advantage.

This huge advantage is summed up in one word – Traffic. If you pull a lot of people with the same interests together and they all start to blog, they read the other blogs on the system.

But I still think self-hosted WordPress wins the day!

If you want any more advice the best blogging platform or want someone to set-up a self-hosted version of WordPress for you, please do contact me through my Merseyside Web Design website.

There are a lot of benefits keyword research tools can give such as number of monthly searches as well as search count. Another advantage is to know the converted searches and other high-ranking keyword combinations.

It can also yield some useful information about words that you failed to use and those that have similar meaning. To know the possibility of success for the keywords you are ranking, you can use a keyword research tool such as Micro Niche Finder. This tool is not only user-friendly, but it can also provide you information about the strength of competition (SOC), the backlinks’ measure (MOB), and the commercial intent of the particular keyword (OCI).

You can as well try these useful keyword tools:

Google Adwords Keyword Tool: This PPC free software can’t provide you the exact number of searches for each keyword. However, it has a bar that will show you the approximate number of keywords. This information can still help you analyze results.

Google Suggest: This tool is very helpful in searching for synonyms and provides more alternative words that have similar meaning. Through this, you can come up with more keyword choices.

It is very important that you do not rely only on the number of people using the term when doing their research. You must also be alert for other words that compete with your keywords in the rankings.

After you have seen the result, it is now time to exert more effort in making sure that your keyword gets a high rank.

Two things you need to remember:

- how many sites compete for the keyword

- the status of their rankings (i.e. the number of linked sites and indexed pages)

Using a keyword research tool is important in knowing whether or not the keyword you are using is effective or not. Testing new terms gives you more room for improvement. Through this you can also determine those which are performing poorly. You have to make the necessary adjustment to test the effectiveness of the new money keywords.

Search engine optimization involves tricky strategies and you can get errors when you are not careful in using keywords that people use when they do searches. This is why it is also important to do your own research and make educated guess on the type of keywords customers use.

You have to ensure that the money keywords are closely related the niche of your site. Drawing a lot of traffic is not enough. It’s important that the customer would stay and continue to browse to learn more about your site.

These and more great internet marketing tips can be found online. Just make sure you come to the right site.

How Important Are Long Tail Keywords?

The interest in SEO is sparked from the desire to barge in to the first page of search results. If a site is not featured in the first page then it means that it is not featured at all. It has been proved that the interest of the user is sustained only for the first page of search results.

With thousands of web pages vying for the first page, for the same keyword, it becomes a difficult task for the search engines to rank the pages. So the search engines follow various algorithms like inbound links, popularity and other factors to rank the sites, which is a bit complex to comprehend.

But the core of search engine optimization, the use of appropriate keywords, remains unchanged and will be the same in the future years as well. Of course, we need to consider the semantic indexing followed in recent times to comply with the search engines’ ranking criteria.

As the competition increases day by day, those keywords with less competition offer some hope for the seo specialists who desperately wish to override the powerful opponents. Long tail keywords are the perfect solution as it offers several benefits.

For instance, a search on “books” returns Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com and eBay in the first page as its top results. If one owns a bookstore in Park Avenue then the hopes of getting to the first page are almost nil. But, if keyword-based SEO is done on “buy Park Avenue books”, then a spot in the first page is almost assured with little effort on the other SEO areas.

Users with serious needs search with specific keywords, in other words, long tail keywords. So, when they go to a site listed in the search results, it will mostly be for serious information and not just casual browsing. Hence, what requires years of web domain dominance is achieved in a very short duration with strategic planning of long tail keywords.

The only point to be remembered is that one needs to find the long tail keywords that are searched by the users. But with plenty of keyword tools available in the market, it is an easy task for the SEO expert to find out the right keywords that promotes the business.

A carefully planned long tail keywords strategy will not only feature on the first page of search results, but also add value to the site in terms of the users it attracts, which will in turn boost the credentials of the site and translates it to money per click.

There are several tools out there to help in figuring out the keywords. It is worth exploring Google AdWords or wordtracker in this respect. In addition to that, it pays to do a little more research and find out the possible phrases from the user point of view. The focus should be on “key phrases” instead of “keywords”. It will be a pleasant surprise to see a whole new array of effective long tail keywords emerge.
